Let's hope one day soon the relationship between Iran and the U.S. will be better again and you will be able to travel the Iran. Insh'allah.

5. It was an amazing trip
We saw so much, learned so much, met nice people. And the food .... :9

Iran is a very interesting country and I am sad that because of politics not many people will visit it. The Iranians were happy to see foreigners, they kept coming to us, asking us where are we from, how we like Iran, trying out their English.

On the one side they have modern technology, on the other side they are not able to stop the leaking of a sink. There is rich and there is poor. It is very noticable.

The history .... they start to take care of their historical heritage and they know that preserving it is important. Not like the Taliban in Afghanistan who blow up non-islamic sights.

7. I know, I knew a couple in DE that were Iranian

she is actually Afghani (Dari?) and they were the most generous kind people I've ever met. I feel bad that I blew out of DE without really saying goodbye to them. :(

8. I love the moody quality of the first ones.
That's a heavy sky indeed. Quite appropriate for a grave site. Nice work!
