2. It only works if you have a magic circular polarizer like I do.
After that it's all downhill.

We could write a movie script around it.

6. do you know the song The Cherry Beach Express
by The Pukka Orchestra? It's about the beach as the site where cops like to take people to put the boots to them. One local won a rather large civil judgment against about 6 of them...amazingly. Remember? I had heard about that practice for years and considered it an urban legend until then.

7. Thanks for the reminder about that song!
I just found it on Youtube and gave it a virtual spin.

A lot of people, I think, just couldn't get their heads around the idea that the cops did that. I wonder if it's still happening, there or somewhere a little less notorious.

14. All are wonderful
and have that solitary feeling.

The third is actually my favorite, because of the way the horizon meets the sky, and the understated colors. I feel as if I am there. In all honesty, I never feel as if I am in the moment in black and white photos, though often I respect them from an artistic point of view. But seeing your last two together really drives this home to me. I am "there" in the third one. I am merely the observer in the last one.

15. I like the third one the best by far,
yet I wish it had a bit more water on the bottom.
Great fun to see the changes from color to b/w.
