the way her shoes are over there and she's all stretched out. Almost like a person would be lying after being hit by a bullet or something.........

Is that overseas somewhere? Trying to read the headstones, but it looks to be in a foreign language

3. I did not get the impression of sad |

I think she just wanted to commune with the quiet. The cemetery is God's Acres, Moravian Cemetery in Winston-Salem, NC. My back yard.

5. She looks so completely relaxed. |
|
I wonder if she is laying in the midst of her family's plot.

I found myself pondering this one for a long time. It's very thought provacative and mysterious. The composition just adds to the mystery with the shoes. I wonder if she's trying to be 'close' to lost loved ones; is she 'communicating' with someone, is she sad or resigned? So many ways to feel about this photo. Really nicely done!

8. She was either out of it in a good and trusting way, |
|
or she did not care about the fact that there were noises about her. I was with 5 others all of whom disturbed the vibe in the air even if we might not have made noise.
I clicked quickly and without real framing, I did not want to disturb the opportunity of catching this shot. I think it's one I'll treasure, some of it thanks to you'all's feedback.
As a matter of fact it was a "I'm glad I got this shot without making my subject mad"shot. If ever I will win a contest again I might consider it as a subject matter.
