12. Although there were so many wonderful photos to choose from

and it was a really hard decision, I voted for yours. I could just feel the sensations reflected in that little girl's face as she came out on the other side of that fountain. Such an expressive shot.

I am under absolutely no misconception that my pic lacked some of the subtle and wonderful technical, focal, angle etc abilities of the other pics. The subject matter, and the dumb luck of being in the right place at the right time was it's biggest draw.
