Zombie Walk
Last Saturday was the annual zombie walk. Hundreds of people showed up, dressed as zombies and zombie-hunters, to walk/lurch around town. We had a great time, posing for tourists and terrorizing the locals. I didn't take many photos because the stage blood is very sticky and it was getting on my camera. Thankfully it washes/wipes off easily. The photos are more processed than I usually do because I wanted to add to the sense of unreality.

Here's my crew, excluding me behind the camera. Thanks to everyone for recommending photo stitching programs (I used Hugin). There's still a few artefacts, but it's the best I could do in short time.

Zombies aren't scary, you say? My friend disagrees with you.

I have lots more photos from this summer that I haven't had time to post. I'll get around to it one day.

2. Dressing up is fun.
I encourage it as often as possible. Even if there's no occasion for it. :7

8. She does it every year.
She doesn't bother to wash her costume either, just dumps more blood over it each year. Lol.

IRL, she's a total sweetheart.

We have one of these coming up in the fall. I'm really hoping I can make it.

6. You should definitely go.
Everyone is happy to pose and do silly things for photographers. The makeup was amazing and people were really getting into character. It's fun to dress up, but like I said, the blood is a sticky mess and gets everywhere. Be warned. Even if you don't start out with any on you, you'll be covered by the end. It washes off easily though.

5. Looks like a lot of fun
I slept in and missed it all. Damn. Now I'll have to wait a year for the next one. Love the second shot and can't wait to see more.

7. Slept in?
It started at 4pm. Are you working nights now?

You should go next year. It was huge, amazing fun.

10. Arrgghhh!
For some reason, I had it in my head that it was in the morning so I thought I missed it. So I went out on errands and was probably in Richmond when it happened. I'll have to make sure I have the time straight next year.
