More photos from our camping trip last week
I finally got the pictures up at my website here http://northernvisions.smugmug.com/Vacation/Southcentral-Roadtrip/13496206_QpyxP#983036025_9m3o2

I'd like to suggest that you view them as a slide show to take full advantage of the expensive pixels. :) The small shots just don't do the scenery justice.

2. Woman!
What you do to me, you have no idea. All of these photos are of my dream. Each one frame and wall worthy.

I'm so glad you get to enjoy such a breath-taking place to live and play.

7. One of my favorite songs right now is
Shawn Mullins' Talking Going to Alaska Blues. Have you heard it? If not, go here on Amazon's MP3's and click on track 20 for a sample.

Shawn Mullins - Talkin goin to alaska blues Lyrics
Album: 9th Ward Pickin' Parlor

I'm goin' to Alaska
Where nobody knows my face
I'm goin' to Alaska
Where there ain't no rats to race
I'm headed to Alaska
Where a song is still a song
I'm flying to Alaska
Where I done nobody wrong
I'm goin' to Alaska
To a good size little town
I'm headed to Alaska
Where Michelle's friend was anchored down
I'm goin' to Alaska
Where there might be somethin' more
Flyin' to Alaska, Delta flight 2284
I'm goin' to Alaska
Where there's air still left to breathe
I'm goin' to Alaska
Where my broken heart may never let me leave
I'm not yet in Alaska
But I will be there today
Flyin' to Alaska
In this skinny window seat 11a
No use tryin' to reach me
Don't call me on the phone
Nothing there to keep me baby
Sometimes I gotta roam
Because I'm goin' to Alaska
Where I got some friends I know
Maybe when I get there
I won't feel so freakin' low

10. LOVE LOVE LOVE the lyrics.
I have to go cook up a rhubarb crisp for dinner tonight, but I will definitely give that a listen. It's perfect.

4. I'd say these are the most beautiful and technically accomplished
photos of yours I've see yet. But I'll probably end up thinking that about your next set, too. That's usually how it goes.:)

5. Wow just wow.
Your pictures really inspire me to get back to Alaska and go to Denali. The shots along the denali highway are amazing. There are no words. what an amazing place.

6. I can't find my comments from yesterday, where I said
(I thought I did, anyway)

that I looked forward to studying them all.
Now I realized that I have to do it in stages. It so overwhelms me.

Perfection can simply hurt, in such a good way.
Every one is a masterpiece, and I will be back to look many times.

Thank you.

8. They are beautiful.
I went through them all and shared them. One of my favorites "Yuuko near the summit of Thompson Pass". Yuuko looks like royalty looking over his kingdom. Beyond that it is so hard to find favorites, love the foggy morning ones. The problem with your photos anymore is one is a good and riveting as the next and the next. If I had wall space for prints it would take me months to narrow it down to a few to buy.

9. Thank you, CC
That means a lot to me coming from you. I must credit HullBoss for providing me with the equipment (I'm still not sure I'm worthy) and, of course, Mother Earth for blessing us with this beautiful land.

13. Please tell Hullboss to do me a favor
Edited on Wed Sep-01-10 11:35 PM by CC
and tell* you you are more than worthy. Terry loves them too and even my sometimes dense husband mentioned the layers in your photos. I also sent the link for all the fans you don't know about.

Going through them I do see a problem with so many great photos, it really is hard to narrow down a choice or three if you were looking to buy. Something for all of us to think about when it comes to smugmug or other sites and trying to sell.

*If that doesn't work then tell him to use drastic measures of his choice.:)

12. I'm a Canon girl.
The wide-angles were taken with the 1 Ds Mark III, the telephots with the 7D.
