An image for this month's hostess...GreenPartyVoter
I could not find the original off the bat, and since I won't use it in the contest I simply took it off the wall and scanned it.

Excuse the fact it's ragged and uncropped.
It is made up for by bing so
SWEET!

I hope you like it.
I think it could fit the theme, but I have one I like better, but now that I look at it again....I'm not so sure

:)

2. That is so sweet!!! I had completely forgotten, but my boys had some of those. :^D As for my own
"Sesame Street" story, I lived for a brief time in Maryland when my Dad was stationed there. I was 3 at the most.

While cleaning out my parents' house this summer I found a plastic bag that said "Sesame Street" on it. I peeked inside and found a certificate, postcard, and a yellow feather. I had completely forgotten it, but when we lived in MD my little cousin and I went to meet Big Bird in person, and this was the gift bag that we received while we were there. I now recall my mother telling me about taking that trip, and that I absolutely refused that it was the real Big Bird.

3. What perception! And a very nice story.
Sesame Street was instrumental in my kid teaching himself to read at a very early age. And then there was "Free to be you and me" with Marlo Thomas teaching kids the principles of equality and feminism.
This means going down memory lane....

5. Please allow me to welcome you to Democratic Underground.
I'm very impressed with you finding us already, meaning the Photo Group.
It took me two years to do it, or even more. But during those two years I had to battle Bush..... and was pre-occupied.

Seriously
Welcome!
