1. Best caption award given to you, Alfredo! |
|
I mean it. It's a gripping photograph, but also a little menacing. That kid is going to be a handful in a swift minute. The promise is in the eyes. Unforgettable. I like how the light is so concentrated the head, and the foreshortening is perfect, too. The tiny foot gets me.

2. Demented is the word that comes to mind. The chocolate |
|
peanut butter pie was his drug of choice.
Black and white was perfect for the shot because of the color of the objects on the ground to the left were a distraction.

3. Perfect depiction of the title. |
|
Perfect.
Also a little sad to look at since he could be the identical twin of my only nephew who is now enlisted in the Army and his only reason: he is unable to motivate himself to do anything with his life. I hope he still has one when this is over.
Good job, as usual. I'm telling you portraits are your true strong suit, my friend. :hi:

5. Thank you. I find them emotionally draining though. |

I'm very aware of people's boundaries, maybe too sensitive to do much street level portrait work.
There's a roots and heritage festival this weekend. I will be exploring the use of fill flash. It really comes in handy under the vendor tents.

6. He's from a strict evangelical family. His parents weren't |
|
there so he was able to be a kid for a few hours.

8. He had a nanny for some time, I don't know if she is |
|
still there. She seemed nice.
He's much more open than I remember his dad to be. The nanny seemed like a good person, so maybe she has been good for him.

dad remembers. All I can suggest is to borrow him often and allow him all the freedom you can, sugar highs and all. You just never know what memory will be the saving grace.
Wish I could steal him and introduce him to Sage's great uncle Dan aka Nanny Danny. That little one is being allowed to be a free spirit and rewarded so for her imagination. Course her parents know a good thing when they have it in Uncle Dan. (Her great uncle has been her babysitter/unofficial parent.)

10. I think he will be alright. He seems to be well socialized. |
|
Both parents are doctors and lead busy lives, so maybe they can only influence them so much.
