The Japan Festival
The day started out with semi threatening weather, and then muggy heat. It kept the attendance down somewhat. I think you will get a sense of the temperature here.

Here is a Japanese performance artist of some kind. Funny.

It was quite interactive.

For example, this guy ended up with a hat.

Keeping cool, well trying.........

Traditional Japanese Dance

Keeping cool, part two

And, in the Japanese garden

1. What a nice mix of pictures, my dear Celebration!
I really enjoyed seeing both the people performing, and those watching, along with the wildlife...

Everyone looked as though they were really having a nice time, in spite of the heat/humidity.

Thanks for sharing!

2. Looks like fun!
Did you have some good Japanese food? :9

Nice pics! The shot of the carp looks like an abstract painting.

3. What fun!
I love the photo of the young woman (traditional Japanese dance)! The beauty of her face is stunning and the light is nearly perfect! The "hot" light on the right side is nicely balanced by the lighting on the left side of her face. Nice!

4. What fun!
I love these international festivals. So much color and personality in these pics.

My favorite one is the two girls by the water. I can see the action taking place.

6. An adventure. And we get to share. These capture the event and
give us a real feel for what went on. I like the photo of the traditional dancer the best, not only is she very beautiful but so Geisha like as to almost seem to be made of porcelain. The Carp are also really cool.
Thank you!

7. The weather conditions come through loud and clear.
And fortunately, so does the fun and fascination of the event.
