3. I thought it kind of creepy too. Like a tentacle....probing.

2. My dear Solly Mack!
I find certain elements here very beautiful...for instance, the background. I love the fuzzy impressionistic look to it.

The plant intrigues me...what in hell is it?

Thanks!

4. If that was a killer vine I would be a victim - because I was both drawn to
and repulsed by the picture.

It's a vine that escaped the trellis and was growing up the park bench. No idea what kind of vine though.

5. Everything about this is unusually beautiful.
The way the descending creeper ends at the leaf, the three dimensionality, the wonderful background and the perfect light on the crawly looking plant.
It makes me wonder, do we have an unfinished music staff, or ampersand....

More!

7. It's not often one sees a photo of a plant that really qualifies as a portrait.
This does. Don't know what that thing is, but you've memorialized it very well.

8. Thanks, JeffR.
I outghta go back and find out what kind of vine it is. I just turned around on the bench and there it was...reaching out for me...so I took a picture of it.

Funny to look at it now. I haven't seen it since that first time and it scared the crap outta me then.
