People are difficult
to shoot, or perhaps it is my lack of experience that makes it difficult to shoot people up close and personal. But every now and then I get lucky and manage to snag a keeper or two.. I wanted to show you some of the people here at home there will be, of course, family shots. But the folks I don't know very well also.. When you live on an island that only has about 12 thousand people, you know or are acquainted with a whole bunch....

1. It is probably not so much the people as the circumstances.
Most social occasions take place in subdued lighting, which makes photography difficult to start with due to slow shutter speeds. If people are moving, you need higher shutter speeds, which means you need (1) large apertures, or (2) high ISO, or (3) more light by using a flash, or (4) any combination of 1 2 3.

I would appreciate it if the last 2 photos be removed, If that is at all possible? I am having a real rough internet day today, I find myself dropping out and the pages are loading at dial up rates, along with the fact that I select or thought I had selected another photo and finding I ended up duped....

Sometimes we pay for being remote, today seems to be "our" day.
