1. Good one!
We are getting to a good time of year with more low light. I love shooting pictures against the light like this, getting silhouettes. Your great photo reminds me why I like this. This has movement, shadows, light, everything. I really love the kind of V form the shadows make between the people, formed because the light source (sun) is smack dab in the middle of them. Great timing.

2. Thank you. Shutter lag of my P&S made it hit and miss.
I went wide angle and relied on cropping to find an interesting composition. I like the triangle they form.

I used a Lomo filter to add mood. Curves, and contrast were used to further removed detail.
