I went practicing my timing (action) today at my school's college football
game. And I ended up witnessing their first win in over 2 very long years. We beat MIT.

1. Nice actions shots and they're not blurry
As what happens many times when you try to capture sports. I've discovered it's one of the most difficults thing to do.

What lens were you using? Did you crop any of the photos? Sometimes it's better to crop the photos to focus in on the subject with the ball.

7. I started out with the zoom at an equivalent 480 mm
but then decided to zoom out and give myself some breathing room so I could actually follow the action better - then crop slightly :-)

2. Nicely done
I've always found sports shots the most difficult to pull off.

3. San Diego played MIT?
:D Kidding, kidding.

Nice work. I love the guys who are mid-air, it freezes a moment with a lot of power.

6. Yeah yeah, we all know they're tiny
but the school has a small pool of guys to pull from to make a team - as we're comprised of mostly ( 72% ) young college aged girls. :D

I'm going to try weasel my way onto the sidelines for some better shots next week :-)
