These officially all look the same to me. Any help would be appreciated. I think I may have considered some of these for night pictures............

I might know my favorite, but I could easily be talked out of it. I already think I changed my mind.

1. WOW - IMO
two and four are the best ones for BLACK. Believe me I like the others a lot, just not for the theme. Of my two favorites, I think the bird will get more votes, and the Lake would get my vote.
THAT PHOTO ROCKS.

4. hmmm
I guess I lean towards that bird or the last one. One reason I like the red winged one is because so few colors are in it and they are definite, and the black color of the bird perfectly blends with the black silhouette of the branches. Plus it has the advantage of being able to see the eye (a must for me and not that easy with a blackbird) AND the mouth is open. Those are difficult to get in the same picture. And, I really like the primary color part of it.

My hubby was unimpressed by these photos--not a good sign, but he could tolerate the blackbird.

The lake is very serene though.

3. You know what!
I have come back a few times to study that lake. I won't forget that photo. Did I already say I love it?

I also think the first one, which I remember by the way, is a very starkly impressive shot.

But I came back to emphasize to you again about my fascination with that lake. I might dream about it.

8. The lake??
Edited on Tue Oct-05-10 09:10 PM by Celebration
Hmmm. I need to go back and figure out if I took that at Shelby Farms or on the Tennnessee River. I can't tell because it is too black! I think it is a sort of sunrise picture at Shelby Farms Pine Lake. I have fun with those getting different exposures, etc.

Well, I like the first one because it was taken on my Kyoto trip, and I almost entered it into the night pictures.

Thanks for your kind comments!
