Absolutely love the profile, especially the ears, and the computer in the picture is just a huge bonus!
And, Elsie definitely is taking in the content.......

2. Other than my uncle's poodle in Savannah back in '62, and a nasty |

little guy named Mooki in Neuchatel in the mid-70s, I've never met a dog I didn't like.
I fell in love with that profile immediately. That second shot is great.

3. I liked the profile, too. She's a little dog, Elsie is. |

And I did not include a shot of her full body, which is like a spotted b/w cow. Hence the name.
In the TMI department: I was terrified of dogs to a point where my fear did not allow me to breathe when one was near me. German Shepherds especially.
So,at age 34 I got myself a German Shepherd puppy, and raised her into the most vicious dog all my dog loving friends had ever known. (kept her away from all but about 5 people at all times, so she was not used to interacting at all, and ready to kill at all time anyone to whom she had not been properly introduced)
I've had 3 big dogs since, and learned a lot about them and their proper training.
I am no longer afraid, just cautious. Considering where I started from, it's a real success story.

4. That's great background to your shots of Elsie. |

Getting over a fear of dogs, or a fear of anything, is one of those titanic breakthroughs people make in their lives. It's lovely that you're not afraid anymore. Cautious is very good, though. Our beloved departed friend Faust once sank his teeth into my hand without meaning to, when I got between him and a Rottweiler. One of those acute then lingering (for weeks) pains I hate most.
Your Shepherd puppy sounds like the dog my Dad had when he lived in New Orleans. This was in the Depression, and he was single and young and making good money leading a dance orchestra. He had a place in the Latin Quarter, a valet, and a Doberman who terrorized everyone who came to the door.
