Walldog is what sign painters are called, the ones that are up on the sides of buildings with a fitch and lettering enamel. It's a fascinating facade, and starkly represented. An image I won't forget.

it is a dead straight on take of the facade. There are no angles and no dimension to detract from it. It really works as an almost modern rendering of a really old building. All the elements of it are just so squared off and even. Then contrast the almost contrived simplicity of the photo with the intricate brickwork, and the old lettering.
