Perfect lighting and colors in those street scenes. They definitely draw in the viewer. Something makes them feel larger than they actually are. They look a bit magical.

fragrant with Indian food, music coming from a dozen storefronts, women in saris of eye-popping color. Wish there were a way to get the sounds and smells into a photograph too.

Every four or five feet along the sidewalks, the mood changes, the sights and sounds and smells shift and a whole new little world opens up to the camera. It's a sort of nirvana.
