Will look more later but really got hung up on all the colors in Chinatown! I love the one with the mural. Looks like you had fun! Glad you posted the link.

2. There were so many very cool murals in the Mission District |
|
and we were really privileged to come upon the artists doing an entire alley while we were out walking one afternoon. I'm amazed at the beautiful works that these people do with a few spray cans.

3. How beautiful, my dear Blue! |
|
These are magnificent pics!
I loved the dragon on the side of the building, and the sign that said "more shops --->" and the bear and the deer and the elk!
Your colors are so vivid too...
I love to see your slide shows. I feel as though I've gone on your trip too...
Thank you so much!

So glad you were able to see San Francisco on one of the few clear warm days we've had this year.

6. It was unbelievably hot |
|
but the most surprising thing was the lack of fog at night. From the time I lived there back in the old days, I don't remember it ever being that hot during the day without the fog rolling in around sunset. It was kind of weird. But it did make for some popping colors. :)

7. I hurried a bit to find Sebastian. I wanted to see how he looks and how he is |
|
bigger. The portrait of him hamming his face into the experience of the portrait, and the perfection of it made me come back here to say that. What a precious kid shown with so beautifully and simply!
Now I'll lean back and go to enjoy your perfectly presented travel pictures and I let you take me to where you have been...and I thank you.

I have some more pics of the little guy that I'll try to get posted today. He was so darned cute, and very amusing now that he's talking. His very favorite thing is a scrapbook photo album that his Aunt Jodie made him which has pictures of all of his brothers, cousins and aunts and uncles and grandmas and grandpas, pets, everyone who loves him, and he will sit for hours turning the pages and telling anyone who will listen who the photos represent. It's very, very sweet.

The first shot of that elk is gorgeous! And the first shot on the last page makes me dream of walking down that gravel path away from everything.
Sebastian is a doll. :hi:
