I am thinking of buying the Sony Nex3. Any experience

with this camera? I was reluctant when I heard of the bad user interface, but they have updated the firmware and addresses many issues.


Talk me into it or out of it.


BTW, I'm open to a used Canon DSLR body, but still weight is an issue.

1. I played with it for a little while and wasn't happy with the 'feel'

of it - but that's purely subjective. Technically, it seemed fine, it's just that it felt uncomfortable (to me).

4. No viewfinder is an issue. I see the GF1 price has dropped

on the 20mm f1.7 lens model. It is now $599.

2. I wasn't thrilled with the "feel" either

The grip is pretty close to the lens, to the point that at times my fingertips felt wedged and I don't exactly have sausage like fingers.

3. It is odd. It seems that you have to cradle the lens, which

is what you should do.
