I bought a Canon 7D last week...
(Yea, me!!) and discovered something interesting. While shooting in strong sun yesterday, my previously f2.8-22 lens became a f2.8-32 lens. I had no idea it could do that.

About the lens change...one day I will understand what you mean by that.

2. With the old camera...
my lenses would only go up to f-stop 22 (lots of detail in the background). Now they go to f-stop 32 (lots more detail in the background). We're talking aperture, here. I assume the camera has something to do with it but I always thought only the lens mattered in maximum f-stops.
