Morning Sky
Threw my camera in my car (typically I walk to work, but it's been so blasted windy lately I decided to be wimpy) this morning and just had to stop, park and take this photo.

Then when I got to work, I again grabbed my camera for this shot. The flag appears to be "on fire".

1. Camera in car Always!
I just ordered a new point and shoot to keep in the car. I caught some awesome light on the vineyard the other day, but with a 3 mega pixel – ach.

2. Both so wonderful but number one is phenomenal.
A magnificent balance of everything. And just in case you forgot to let me say thanks to the birds for their presence; they added the stamp of perfection.

3. the light under the clouds is beautiful
The first is a very nice photo.

And NV Whino: I saw a beautiful would-be vineyard shot on my way to work a couple of mornings ago. The leaves were yellowish-red, and the vineyard-covered California-round hill undulated back toward the horizon, where it met troubled and undulating clouds. I didn't get this shot. I saw it from 101, and there was no obvious way to get to a spot from which I could get that or a similar shot. Maybe next time.
