1. Wow
and speechless but I love it. Someone better with words will have to comment but I think it is damn near perfect.

4. Thanks. The pattern reminds me of sparks, which in turn
reminds me of fractals.

The sky is lighter today and the roads clearer, I just might take some more photos today. I took somewhere around 80 images yesterday just in my cul de sac. Today I might venture out to a local park.

6. Part of what is so neat
is you know what it is but your eyes and brains just don't want to agree. Fractals came to my mind but doesn't really fit either. Even the looks black and white but the hints of color prove it isn't plays into making it work so well.

8. Thanks. One reason I get up close to my subjects is to simplify.

I learned that when I was a kite maker. When the kite is in the sky elaborate designs disappear. Simple designs work better.

Tal Streeter was an inspiration.

15. What you see is the result of nearly 100 photos over two days.
I am not afraid to crop up to 50%. Curves, auto white balance and wavelet sharpening are the tools I used the most for these images.

19. Thanks. There's a lot to say for taking hundreds of
photos at a time. The law of averages are on your side.

20. Magnificence squared. I'm late seeing these, and can only
join in with the chorus of adoring observers. You must be so pleased with the results of your work.
Each one is more startling and powerful than the next.
More than special - unforgettable.
