is looking bad for eclipse... anyone have any good spots with decent forecasts?

5. Winter storm warning thru Wednesday.

Which is somewhat inconvenient, since I need to drive to Nashville leaving nlt Tuesday. Should be fine once I get to I40.

and the time is right, around 10:00 p.m. here. We've had a long, clear cold snap, which is predicted to end on Monday, but sometimes cloudy days clear up at night, so I'll keep my fingers crossed.

The sun is shining now, anyway. We'll see. I am counting on doing moonrise today (park closes at dusk, unfortunately, so a full moonrise is probably only possible in summer). For the eclipse I could get out on my driveway, I assume.
