1. What a find
and you are posting so many great photos of it. Enjoying all of these and really like the black and white. Glad they let you take pictures inside, so many don't.

On another note, can you believe we have to wait until Feb. to find out if Aiman gets a sister or brother? Aaarrggghhh.

3. Those sockpuppet pics
Make me laugh!

I like taking photos in shops like this, but I think I need Photoshop because they look so much better without the tags. Is this an antique mall? What is so cool about taking pictures in one is that the booth owners already have all the arranging done, and they generally do a good job.

That tricycle must be mostly for show, hanging from the ceiling like that.

Thanks for these. Black and white work particularly well with photos with busy content, don't they? There is already a lot to take in without adding color.

4. Thanks for laughing. Your comments
about b/w working with busy content is the exact opposite of my (very short lived) experience of this excursion into the antique mall.
The busier the shot with content, the less the subject matters show up, and I am learning that only when the color is added can I make out what all there is.

I will illustrate that in my next post, I have some of the photos ready and I'll call it "Like turning on the light"

These photos here are less busy, which is why they look OK and worked IMO.

really stands out.

7. Yeah! That's a winning comment from you... because
it's the clarity of your black and whites specifically, but also in your color photos that I admire and aspire to.
So this was a winning baby step!

8. Isn't it fun? The learning is the big thrill.
Thank my camera's AF for getting it right most of the time. Image stabilization is a must.
