Just an old photo, and a Merry Christmas or Happy Holidays to you all
I'm headed to San Diego in a couple of hours to spend Christmas with my girls. I wish you all the best of holiday experiences!

And thanks for sharing eclipse photos; it was pretty socked in over here.

Peace to you all this holiday season.

Two of my favorites; posted many times:

:D

1. Thank you - and I wish you the same. And congratulations
again on successfully completing your studies this year, and best wishes for all that is to come.
(I remember the beautiful photo of the girl and the windows. So glad to see it again. The rest looks like my family, ALL BOYS)

all GIRLS in my house...they come with their own set of issues. :D

Both of these photos were taken in Deva, Romania, a few years back with a Canon Powershot A520 and then cleaned up in Lightroom. I really liked that little A520; it did well for a low-pixel point-and-shoot.

EDIT: the girl is my younger daughter.
In the first photo the middle-aged man on the left was enjoying the banter of the boys to his right, something they were including him in. It just seemed so timeless and common to humanity; the relationship between the older and younger during happy times (this was at a wedding).

3. Too late to edit, but wanted to add this...
The girl in the second photo is my younger daughter.

4. Merry Christmas
and stay dry!

I'm sure you'll have a lovely time with your daughters. I'm so excited that both of my sons will be here for Christmas. That doesn't happen very often. The forecast for NYC looks pretty good so travel from there tomorrow should not have any delays. My other son lives three miles from here so he'll have an easier time of it.

Well, back to the kitchen. I've been taken over by Martha Stewart's demon.

:hi:

5. Nice shots!
I love the shot of the girl by the windows.

Neither shot is an easy one. Depending on the desired mood of the shot, the one of the guys can be cleaned up quite well.
