Decisions, decisions
I have been too busy to go out and shoot new photos, so I am relying on some old Army era photos.

I can't decide. I like both. Both have memories and emotion attached.

1. Definitely the 2nd one IMO
Really like that one. Just don't ask me for a possible title. My internal title generator was sent into the shop for repairs. They say it's suffered considerable damage and can't tell me when they'll get it back to me. :-)

Didn't you have a cafepress "store" at one time? If so let me know.... if you want it linked or I can link your wheatpaste graphics place over in the group smugalugazug. Or not. Whatever. Just trying to finish up, add content, other stuff.

Interesting... when I tried to add the navbars to the bottom as well as the top my "mouse over" images were missing in action. Think java may cancel out other java?

... so enter the 2nd one. Very kewl.

2. I think you are right. The rider is named Gigante. He was
a gentle giant and my friend. He had just returned from the 68 Olympics, had signed with a pro team in Italy.

This day he was crushing the opposition with a solo break away. He lapped the field 5 times. the guy was an animal.

If you want to link my site, go right ahead.

My mind is rather slow today. Yesterday was extremely intense. For the past few months I have been working for a vote on buying our water supply from the German conglomerate, RWE. Yesterday they got an injunction against us, preventing a vote on the issue. They would have lost if the vote was allowed, so they used the courts against us.

so I am going with your recommendation. Thanks

3. I agree the 2nd photo is the better choice for the contest.
But I really like the top photo better. Is that guy walking on coals? Fencing? Doing a sword dance?

of the true cross by St Helena.

He is an old warrior, probably a survivor of the colonial wars. Even in his advanced years he can still dance.

Behind him is the largest moveable structure ever made by man , the most advanced device of its time. It was an engineering wonder. And there is the old warrior and his sword.
