Haha... Just thought I'd post a few from our walk yesterday in Kincaid Park, which is a beautiful coastal municipal park here in Anchorage, very popular with the cross-country ski crowd.

I didn't notice the dog in this picture until I got it up on the computer; otherwise, I would have gotten a little closer to him.


I know this is kind of an odd picture, but I liked the layered effect, and all the elements -- air, water, ice, rocks, sand.

That seems so strange you wouldn't have seen the dog there. (Although, knowing you, were you wearing your glasses? LOL!)

I like the frosty leaves photo best. Great detail, light and shadow! :thumbsup:

4. Actually, I was wearing my glasses...

...so I could see my images on the LED screen and get them in focus. Couldn't actually see beyond the camera though -- LOL. As for the dog, I think he came running up that hill just as I was snapping the pic. Nice of him to stop for me, though.

note to self, visit Alaska in July as I freeze here at 56 degrees. Ok I freeze at 70 too. I love them all specially the leaves. On the one with the dog, I like you being back from the dog, makes him a part of the scene instead of the main focus.

I too... like the 2nd one. The different levels/layers. But my fave is the Frosty Leaves. I'm a sucker for abstract stuff and I really like that one.
