Sorry, guys -- cant... stop... taking... pictures

We enjoyed Kincaid Park so much yesterday that we went out this morning to catch the sunrise.

Forward motion stopped here (yes, InTheFlow, I saw them)

Mama moose enjoying the view

We saw a big bull with really good antlers earlier in the walk, but he had his back to us and we couldn't get him to turn around for an optimal photo op -- we didn't really want to try TOO hard to get his attention.

1. Those are wonderful Blue
I wish I lived someplace so scenic! I'm going to post some weekend pics in a minute, but they're pretty mundane in comparison lol!

2. That first one is almost surreal.
It has a very soft, almost fantasy-like feel to it.

3. Thank you, Xithras...
Hey, how are things with your wife? I read your post in the lounge, but I couldn't think of any good advice to give. I hope things work out okay for her.

4. Thank you, fairly well.
There's actually not much happening right now. The investigators are doing their things, and when that's done her attorney is going to try and set up a meeting with the DA's office to see if we can get them to drop the charges or reduce it. He seems to think that we should be able to get them to reduce it to a simple "Failure to report an auto accident", which will get her a point on her driving record and pop us with about a grand in fines.

If he can negotiate them out of the charges, this should be resolved in a few weeks. Otherwise, her court case starts in early December. Either way, we're not terribly worried about it at this point...no jury on the planet would actually convict her.

5. Well, I'm sorry you guys have to go through this stuff...
It sounded to me like the kid was more at fault than your wife, and when he took it upon himself to leave, I can certainly understand why she didn't bother to report it. I've been involved in fender-benders that were handled in exactly the same way with no calls to the police. I hope it all goes away soon.
