After looking at the other posts, I think I'm leaning towards fall for the contest. We seem to be looking in very different directions and sometimes I just don't get how they vote in the lounge. :shrug: Even if you included a definition of unity in the poll, I don't think anyone would stop to really examine the photos, kwim? Anyway, since we're military my first thoughts on a unity theme are military related. My ideas...

Army brats. This one has to be explained, but it's my girls and my best friend's girls. Somehow these girls managed to get about 6 years together at the same place. This was taken shortly before my husband got home, and Kayly and Kristen (in pink) left for 2 years in Korea with their family. The four of them have had a pretty tough time with being separated.

1. Absolutely, those all look like unity to me...

What I liked about the topic (as well as "strength" last month) is that it's so open to interpretation. Maybe we should keep the more "interpretive" topics here in the group and just use more general stuff for the Lounge contests. :shrug:

3. "Army Brats"

Most excellent. The military shots certainly say unity, but I like the 4 distinct personalities...and obvious friendship/unity conveyed in "Army Brats".
