the overall timbre of the debate or whether it was deliberate.

He was Mr. Stay On Message, as in "Don't even bring the other candidate into it. Talk about it as if he weren't even there. Act as if the whole debate was just YOUR candidate presenting her message to the public."

Keith tried like crazy to get him to comment on the changed tone between the two of them, but he would have none of it.

71. Rats, I think this is the first time I've missed a special comment and a debate.

I even suffer through the Republican ones. Now that Edwards has dropped out, I was hopiing tonight's debate would help me decide but I had to go out and couldn't watch. Who the freak am I supposed to vote for on February 5th. I got my practice primary ballot in the mail today and I'm still stumped, it doesn't help that the other candidate I wanted to vote for is still on the damn thing. Oh well.

I'll try and go find the video of the special comment anyway.
