Take the number of delegates from both and subtract them from the total needed for nomination. It follows the rules, penalizes those who broke the rules (sorry, Pats and Sharon!), and still is faithful to whomever has the lead in the delegates count. THEN, count super-delegates.

Things went OK, though it was emotionally very difficult for me. Fortunately, Dad is very compliant and willing to let others take care of him, so he is willing to make the move. That is a HUGE relief!

Physically, he's doing well. The doctor said that his bloodwork was "boringly normal." And Dad has a better blood pressure than I do! (108/74)

Today when I went to see him, he was sitting up, reading the newspaper. That's a mild, but very positive improvement. :)

Butterball never listens to anyone but Ayja and only because he moves him out of the way for his turn and because he lets everyone else know I am owned by him.:rofl: When Terry brought him home on the truck he was all of 3 lbs soaking wet. He would get on the blankets between us and make himself sink to the mattress. Then Ayja would use his feet to try to push Terry out of the bed. He still does the blanket thing but only pushes Terry the the edge of the bed trying to get him as far away from me as possible. There is a reason ferrets and other cats sleep at the foot of the bed.

132. The really great part is that the unit he's moving to is top-notch.

They work closely with all the residents, and encourage them to maintain as much independence as they can. That will be a huge benefit for dad, since we're so much alike... we HAVE to do things for ourselves. So if he really wants to do his laundry, he can. If he can shower for himself, he will. And if he wants to just sit in his room, he can do that, too.

I'm already gonna buy him a new bed, and just might get him a new TV. I wonder if they have high-def available there? :)

great place. Every little bit of freedom and control over yourself is so important and they actually realize it. So many places don't. Your Dad being willing to move is also a good sign since that makes it easier all the way around.

If they don't have high-def already they will by 2009 so worth it either way. Great idea for him too along with the new bed.
