I've had two, both rescue. And that's what I always hear. Strangers stop me and ask "What kind of dog is that?" LOL. My reference is always the movie "As Good as it Gets" with Jack Nicholson. I've heard it a lot, since Meneken went everywhere with me. They're both in my sig... :loveya:

125. Yup, that's what he is. But he tipped the scales at the vet yesterday at 18.1 lbs.! Yikes!

Meneken was eight pounds... Is Mabel smooth coat? My guys are both rough coat, and they do look a lot different, and can vary in size. Here are more pix, since they both have pages on Dogster, including videos, silly me. But I found Dogster via DU... :D

The second pose of her reminds me of Jack, LOL, since he sleeps in all kinds of positions... He's a real cuddler, wants to be as close to you as possible...:eyes:

How old is Mabel and is she still pretty small? She is absolutely adorable! Thanks so much for the pix, since Brussels Griffons are quite rare, have only seen one other in real life. I couldn't walk through PetsMart, with Meneken, without being stopped numerous times by people asking about him and making a fuss... :D

My vet told me that he acquired one other BG client, besides Meneken, and I happened to run into the lady and her dog when I was leaving one time and she was coming in. We both stopped dead, LOL, because neither one of us had ever seen another one! And I thought hers was huge because she said he was 11-12 lbs., but then I adopted Jack... *sigh* He was eight pounds at five months, but was 18 lbs. at the vet's, as I said. I was told that he could stand to lose a pound or two...x(

Glad that you enjoyed the Dogster pages and I love Mabel's pix. Wasn't sure if you'd be interested, but the pix are quite amusing... Meneken was already named when I adopted him, at age nine, in 2002. His owner had died, an elderly lady, Edith Bel Geddes, sister of the actress Barbara Bel Geddes, who was Miss Ellie on Dallas... And he is named for the Manneken Pis, a very famous statue in Brussels, Belgium, which is of a little boy urinating... She may not have been able to spell, LOL, but she did have a sense of humor...:D



And, no, you didn't tell me that your aunt lives in Saratoga! That's my hometown, where I grew up, and I still have some family there. I was just there on Monday, with my dog... East Side or West Side? LOL. I've since found out that there's a rivalry... ;)

that's too large but I can't seem to shrink it, its not showing me the dpi of the original but instead the pixels. Oy.

Irfan view which is not available on my mac. This time, it wouldn't show me dpi, and wouldn't show me any other attributes. I have a program on this computer called Photoshop Elements, which is kind of a low rent version of the program, doesn't always behave the way it should and has some frustrating qualities. Pic is up though, a bit big.

Most of the other artists in the show were like...25, tops 30, so it was a bit of a challenge trying to appear younger than springtime, but I managed to pass for, maybe 45 for a couple of hours. I just tell people now that I'm the same age as Madonna. That gets the youngsters very confused, you can see the wheels turning in their heads trying to figure it out.
