and not making it clear that he meant what he said "in a political sense." As in, no, he didn't really want a MAN to take Hillary into a room, beat her, rape her, and kill her, and then come out alone!

Well, he didn't add the last part, but he implied it. In other words, his phrasing made his statement open to misinterpretation. He apologized for the PHRASING. Not the statement.
