Gregory really knows how to fire that fastball! Strike one! Oh....and here comes another--ooh, Scotty almost got beaned by that one, but it's good! Swing and a miss! Strike two! I don't know, folks, McClellan just doesn't seem to be on his game today! Gregory winds up again and...it's a whiff! McClellan says he's not going to comment on an ongoing investigation! Strike three...and it's 'have a seat'! Gregory gets him with the slider!

"Oh wait, McClellan is up again, back for another try. The pitcher on this go-round, a real veteran, the formidable Helen Thomas. She's sizing him up...and she winds up...and here comes the pitch...OOOHHHH! Right PAST him! She asked him about his relationship with Karl Rove! Said Rove put him on the spot and put his credibility on the line! She's really playing hardball! That's gotta hurt!

He's really gotta be wishing about now that he'd get something nice, slow and easy from his old buddy Jeff Gannon.
