Imus out?
So I found what I think might be the NY equivalent to Wonkette, except it seems to have less buttsex jokes, and they had the story on moving Dan Abrams' portrait WITH an interesting addition about Imus:

Guests to MSNBC's headquarters in Secaucus (ourselves included) will no longer be treated to legal hottie Dan Abrams and his infamous 'do. His framed portrait has been pulled from its regular slot to make room for Rita Cosby, the recent Fox News transplant who still doesn't even have a name or time slot for her upcoming show. (With Tucker Carlson getting the same treatment this summer, this is on its way to trend status.)

MSNBC prez Rick Kaplan laughs off the notion Abrams is somehow being punished for not agreeing to abandon his own show, The Abrams Report, to cohost a show with Cosby during the 9pm slot. And Danny Boy himself is scoffing at the notion he's being disciplined, even though he's now the only show host not pinned up alongside Don Imus, Chris Matthews, Keith Olbermann, Tucker Carlson and Joe Scarborough.

Fret not, however. We hear Don Imus might not steal the morning airwaves much longer, so that'll free up a slot.

1. I'd be somewhat alarmed
if it had more buttsex jokes. ;-) I wonder who/what they'll put in the timeslot Imus' show has been occupuying. (Man, I had to word that sentence carefully.) They could use Abrams; his ties alone would be enough to wake people up, although that's a pretty cruel way to get the blood going in the morning... flip on the TV and "AIGGGH!"

3. My husband watches Imus every morning
I think Imus is more of a guy show. How many women watch Imus? But, occasionally, Imus does have some interesting people he talks with...Craig Crawford, David Gregory, Joe Biden is on frequently.
