Actually, here's a fun fact from my store of linguistic knowledge. The statement with a rising intonation (sounds like a Yes No question) is called the "feminine" statement and characteristically indicates unsureness or low confidence. Typically used more by women than by men. I shit you not! :rofl:

i have an annoying habit of sounding like whoever it is I'm talking to. I've been known to start spouting off sentences in various accents (English, Scottish, Aussie, Spanish, French) because I'm speaking with someone who has that accent. I am NOT making fun of them, I just do that & I don't know why. :shrug:
And if I'm talking to someone? who speaks in questions? I start talking? like them? :grr:
