Question:
I will be arriving at LaGuardia (cross fingers) between 7PM and 8PM. Do I tell the cabbie to take the bridge or the tunnel?

1. Where are you going, midtown?
I always leave it up to them, but maybe I'm being naive?

4. Perhaps that's the best thing to do, leave it up to them because they know
the trafic situation. Quite personally, I'd rather take the bridge so I can see the city.

2. I always take the bridge, because it's prettier.
I don't know about the cost difference, however. :hi:

3. I take it there's a toll for both?
Someone told me if you told the cabbie which to take it's less likely he'll 'take you for a ride' because he thinks youu know the route. I'm worried about traaffic, though, is one always busier than the other?

put it on the meter. Not sure how much it'll be, maybe about $30. without traffic, not including tip. But it's been a long time since I flew into La Guardia so don't quote me.

I'd love to hook up and meet you guys in NYC. Looks like we'll be having a Chimpeachment to celebrate!!! Or at least some indictments. Check out the NYTimes front page tonight. Yippee, could it be the reign of King Georgie is coming to an end.

I was teaching tonight so I haven't read the Countdown thread, apparently Keith broke a big story tonight. I will have to catch the rerun.
