1. She is adorable!
Yup, Roo crossed his paws in exactly the same way. She looks like a furrier version of Roo.

2. ok, now it's my turn to compare &
cry. ;)

that's just how hermione (my big tubby red tabby) would curl up with lizzie. i never knew what kind of "hair" to call her...she wasn't a short hair & she wasn't a long hair. medium hair, maybe?

3. I know...
 it's a bittersweet thing, posting the pic, knowing he isn't here.

Although, last night, a mysterious bump at the foot of the bed caught our attention. I was wide awake, stroking Binky, and I thought Oreo jumped up to join us. Well, she was in the other room. So I said, "Roo, are you with us tonight?" Binky just gazed into my eyes, seeming to know answers I could barely glimpse.

4. that's happened to me before too
with other cats....i get the feeling during the night that i can't move my feet because there's a cat sleeping near them...i feel the weight & heat of the cat but when i wake up, no one's there. ah well, just one of the departed checking in.

5. Oh, what beauties!
And they cross their paws like that because they KNOW how damn pretty it makes them look...cats have a hyper-awareness of that...they also bend their front paws that certain way cats do for the same reason...they just know how elegant it looks...

I found MINE sleeping side by side in the papasan chair this past Saturday! It was like they were determined to drive me crazy with their adorableness. Cats...

6. Oh, what beautiful cats!
I wish I could figure out how to upload my photos of the Muffster. They're on a CD-ROM, so I'm not quite sure how that would work. I have some really funny ones of her asleep in what I call the "Calico Croissant Position", where's she's curled up in a little ball. How do they breathe in there!?!
