7. Had last night's speech been given by anyone else, I might have

thought it was wonderful -- because maybe I would have believed it. In this case, I didn't believe a word and didn't hear a lot of words I would have liked to hear -- We need to roll back the tax cuts to help pay for the reconstruction, we need to get out of Iraq to pay for the reconstruction, and on and on. I hate him so much. The problem is the sheeple believe him and keep following. I'm sure his poll numbers will be back up.

I'm teaching fulltime now that the summer is over.

Wait, did I say full time? I mean more than fulltime, because I got an extra class because my classes are too popular (simultaneously a great and horrifying thing). And our school couldn't afford a lunch program, or some of the equipment I need for my classroom, so I stepped in on a whim and decided to also be the lunch lady with the profits going to my classroom supplies. I know this will be a shock, but providing lunch to 50-100 kids a day turns out to be a lot of work. And I'm working some long days on the weekends as an entertainer at a renaissance festival til the end of the month ... so from mid-August til October the only day off for me was the Friday before labor day.

Do I sound full of self-pity and fear? (Or perhaps full of Coronas and limes?)
