KOEB 10/11/05 (As KO mourns the end of another Yankee season)

Aw, Keith...take heart, there's always next year.

Hey, we Indians fans have been waiting for "next year" for the past 57 years.

Back to the news, sweetie.

Oh, and the line to offer you comfort and consolation begins HERE.

Countdown fans...enjoy. We have our boy back.

How many more days till spring training?

:hi: to all from Berry After the Show, who says "Tonight's suit/shirt/tie combination is proof there is no woman in Keith's life right now, because she never would have let him leave the house dressed like THAT."

Keith love...next time, turn on the light first before you dress...

but :loveya: anyway.

116. Sorry, even with a black suit, that tie is just TOO purple. A solid purple
tie needs some toning down, some earthy toned purple or a print on the purple. I like Keef's other purple ties but this one is yeeeeeeech, and with that suit. Definitely needed a woman's touch to dress him tonight, or Carson Kressley (actually Carson Kressley may have dressed him tonight now that I think about it).

So it's not just us.
That's good to know! It's the tie clashing with the suit. The shirt and suit are okay, as are the tie and shirt. My .02.

99. It HAS worked with one of his gray suits.
He wore it once for an "I Quit" segment:

"This just in...the KOEB says 'Keith, don't wear the lilac shirt and tie with the muddy grayish-brown suit again. Thanks.'"

"WAAH! First the Yankees lose, and now my FANS are criticizing my attire!"

136. LOL. Quite true.
I think this was an attempt to not wear the striped tie we have so roundly complained about (the one he usually wears with this suit that has a brown stripe in it). So he replaces it with a tie/shirt combo we've liked with a different suit and we react like a bunch of cats urping up hairballs. (And yes, I also think this tie/shirt combo works with the gray suit but not the brown one.)

than FEMA did, and it really impressed me. i got to meet sharon and wolverine in DC for the protest as well as see my buddy progmom, which blew my mind. DC was great even though i was to tired to go to the sat meetup ( i had a lot of fun friday though- i guess that didn't help things saturday). my new cats are great and i'm getting out enough. with this job i have more of a life. where i was working last year it was exhausting. still haven't moved yet- it seems months off. but everything else, good. family's good. can't bitch even though i have PMS.

82. i am a technical designer for women's apparel. i help the vendors fit it
properly and the buyers acheive the look they want by knowing the, ummm, engineering and fitting improvements that can be made. i help protect the stores from getting shipped crap, help the product keep a uniform standard of quality and fit.
i'm working for Cache (very flashy) and Lillie Rubin (very hot mother of the bride) and while i have simpler taste (and a lot less sequins and leather in my wardrobe) the people are great. not nearly as psycho coked out hollywood wannabes as a lot of people in the business.
i've been there since august, and so far, so good.

has been very exploitive- i guess cause there's so many women. but this company is pretty cool. they stepped up bigtime to help their southern employess after Katrina. i'm kinda awestruck, because this biz ain't know for that. funny thing, i didn't want to interview there, because the clothes are so opposite my taste, and i'm having a gas. turns out i don't care who the customer is, as long as my co workers are good to work with. i thought i'd spit at some of this metallic skin tight leather and wild fun furs- but i can handle it as good as the next guy. go figure.

it tells me that even if we had ample quantities of the bird flu vaccine on hand (which we don't and won't) it's unlikely that we'd be able to deliver it to crisis areas in a timely fashion -- especially if we have to rely on Homeland Security to "supervise" the job.

88. as the koeb resident legal eagle
sorta, i have a couple of comments to make about norah o'donnell's story:

(1) to the woman who said fitzgerald wasn't "judgment smart": save your smarmy, "come closer, folks, here's the real story" act for the damn jury. and so the hachet work on fitzgerald begins

(2) of course the indictments are going to cover other charges. fitzgerald is not "losing focus." prosecutors HAVE to include all possible charges, including lesser included offenses (LIOs), in the indictment. they only get one swing at the bat. remember this the next time your local DA or federal prosecutor gets on tv & gushes about the 120-count indictment they got against Local Bad Guy #1. chances are, they'll plead to the LIOs, such as conspiracy.

class dismissed. bbl after amazing race.

103. Hi, Bunny after the show here.
I'll try and do a recap of what my poor brain can remember from 20 minutes ago.

Keith: I know I said I liked you in purple ties, but I didn't mean THAT purple. Looks like somebody took the ribbon off an easter basket and tied it around your neck luv, and not with the greenish brown suit. Otherwise you are as handsome and suavasito as usual.

I know why FEMA won't let the ice melt, they are afraid they've lost the recipe and won't be able to make it again. FUBAR, our tax dollars at work.

OMG Bush said scatology and meant eschatology (or some word that's spelled like that having to do with religion). What a halfwit.
Harriet Miers birthday card to the Prezeldent might just possibly rival something Britney Spears could've written. Geesh, does anyone else agree with Stephanie Miller, Miers looks like Frau Blucher from Austin Powers or Cloris Leachman in Young Frankenstein.

Very nervewracking that now they are trying to discredit Fitzgerald by bringing up another case he has with Judy, Judy, Judy involved. All that means to me is that Judy messed up another legal case. She tipped off terrorists with a phone call, hello. Lock this woman up again so she doesn't do any more damage.

Ok, that's all I can remember for now. Hope there's still someone here to talk to.

:hi: KOEB, anyone here.

Personally though, I love the tie. I like a man willing to go out on a fashion limb. Besides, if I got Keith in my Easter basket, I'd be saying "Thanks, Easter Bunny!" The suit, however, can go. I don't like it--not with this shirt and tie, nor any other.

Instead of trucking it around so much, why doesn't FEMA just pour all the ice into an arena and have a skating benefit for the hurricane victims? Come on people...what WOULD Brian Boitano do?

Did someone say "Frau Blucher"? I think that makes posting this necessary:
