Haven't been around as I've let my ebay addiction flare up again. The kids have video games, I have ebay! One of those suckers who wait until the last minute just outbid me on something I really wanted <ggrrrr> the next person shall pay!
On the plus side, the guy who owns the machine tool shop next door wants to buy my house. I quoted him a price, let's see what happens. He's wants to tear down the house and put an F-16 fighter plane on the lot. More power to him, just don't cut down the trees I planted.:woohoo:

He's one of Boeing's top suppliers. That's how these plane manufacturers have always worked, if they need specialty items machined they outsource the work. It's cheaper than doing all the setup work and machining of the parts in-house.
On edit: probably should have 'less expensive' instead of 'cheaper', my bad.
