4. This is so very sad.
How could this be mis-communicated?? It just doesn't seem possible.

families. They could of gone and told the families they were not sure soon as they found out instead of waiting 3 hours. Even if to say they did not know how many might be alive if any etc. They made a very bad situation even worse and things so much harder for the families. Hoping they do have faith, friends and loved ones to hold on too and that the media lets them mourn in peace.

6. Sounds terrible, but I'm glad I went to bed early.
That way I didn't have to go to bed thinking they were all OK and then wake up to learn the whole thing was a HUGE mistake.

Someone fell down on the job here. Big time.

7. OMG, how horrible.
I went to bed before the news changed. Good heavens, that's absolutely awful to think that your loved one, beyond all hope, is alive... and then not. :(

8. it's not just their individual loved ones
in a town that small, everybody knows everybody and like as not is related to them. Even if you didn't much like one of the victims, you probably went to school with their sister or your mama knows their mama or something. That town's gonna be scarred for a long, long time, and a lot of little towns all over the region are going to be thinking it could just as easily have been them.
