For Binka ..... a little KOEB help please

Binka is a DUer whose son was badly wounded in Iraq. She currently lives in Italy
and listen to Stephanie :loveya: Miller via the internet.

She sent me a p.m. and wanted to know what an EDV was and what is the KOEB.

I think she is an EDV and has some real snark to her ..... BTW nice legs too.

Please post what an EDV is and all about the KOEB ..... I am sending her the link for this thread.

Can you make her feel welcome ..... although she wrote that she was used to being the
alpha chick so her and Crispini might have to have a virtual cat fight. :popcorn:

P.S. her house is in Sicily and looks out onto Mount Etna ..... now there is the place for
the KOEB meet up.

Binka -- the KOEB stands for the Keith Olbermann Estrogen Brigade. There is a brother group called the ASTB - the Alison Stewart Testosterone Brigade.

EDV stands for Estrogen Driven Vixen and it's Botany's nickname for our group.

We all love watching Keith Olberman on MSNBC together every night. During the show we post comments on the show, as well as other snark and related or unrelated discussion.

There are a few members who, in addition to loving the show, are in love with Keith. Others of us just love his wit, his snark, his intelligence and his take on the news (I count myself among the latter group). Floaty hearts are often posted in the thread to recognize something wonderful Keith has said or done.

You're welcome to join in the commentary at any time -- most of us welcome visitors and new members.

"in love with Keith."

A big difference.

Aside from that, I think everyone's descriptions are spot-on...

On edit: I just wanted to speak up for those of us who, yes, do think Keith is hot but are NOT necessarily, by definition, brainless idiots with no appreciation whatsoever for his intelligence, snark or anything else that an intelligent person might like.
