actually allowed people to post (around christmas no less) complaints about how our tax dollars are being wasted on fancy hotels for katrina people, when they should have found jobs, rebuilt their homes, got their lives back together already & how pissed off they were that that's where their tax money was going. i am proud to say that i was able to get one particular thread deleted by my response, essentially asking if the op preferred these folks to be homeless on the streets & how i'd much rather my tax money be spent on katrina relief, schools, infrastructure, & law enforcement than building bombs & carrying out illegal wars. apparently, if you're right-wing on this particular cruise board, you can post all the rw bs you want & nothing will be done about it, but say something that might be taken as "liberal" is a no-no. sooo, i don't go there anymore. :)

I mentioned last week that I had to go to court for an assault that I witnessed...Well it looks like I will be back in court again on March 8 as the lawyer for this guy got it held over. This guy is a real piece of work. I found out that after I lost sight of them when they drove off, he was able to push the mother of his child out of the truck and then run over one of her legs. Incredible!

Hope everyone has a great time in NY when you go. I would have loved to attend a meet-up with other KOEBers. Maybe one day....sigh!!
