Bill O'Reilly, that wonderful school expert," she said, referring to the talk show host's acknowledged mistake of claiming the Plano ISD banned red and green clothing during Christmas time.With a wry sense of humor and focus on song, dance and fun, "Live from Plano" has become an annual tradition for many cast members.
This year's performances will benefit the Assistance Center of Collin County, Crossroads Family Services, Forrest Outreach Foundation, Journey of Hope Grief Support Center and My Friend's House, a CITY House initiative. Last year's show generated $75,000 for area non-profits.
"Live From Plano" will include two full days of events. It starts with a 5:30 p.m. silent auction and 6:30 p.m. dinner on March 17, followed by the show and live auction at 8:15 p.m. The March 18 schedule includes a 2 p.m. matinee and silent auction, another silent auction at 5:30 p.m., followed by the dinner and show.
