So what do you do on weekends when Keith isn't on? |
|
Wistfully fantasize about him? Dream? Make macaroni collages in his honor?
I pretty much watch sports and read. But I've been doing that ever since I can remember, before I ever got cable. :)
Some of you cry yourself to sleep. Don't lie! :)

1. I'm too damn busy to cry myself to sleep! |

Weekends are the days I get caught up on all the stuff at home I don't have time to do during the week! This weekend was spent going to the grocery store, library & bank, doing laundry, starting spring cleaning, doing taxes, fun fun fun. I admit this was a slower weekend than normal since my friends were all out of town. Usually we go to a movie or dinner or even "Sin City" (San Antonio).
My one wish would be that weekends would be 3 days long so I actually have a day to rest.

2. LOL, my weekends would have to be 4 days long |

to incorporate time for rest. I vaguely remember the concept of "rest". It ended when Miss Personality was born.
Subtract the library and taxes, add a migraine, double the laundry, add a trip to buy new tennis shoes (and why are tennis shoes made on Asian lasts? I want comfortable walking shoes, not a friggin' fashion statement) a husband who's out of town, a small child who's been to the zoo, a heart-to-heart with a friend who's seriously depressed, church obligations, and you've got my weekend. Oh, and toss in baking some bread and giving the husband a good sendoff.
Unless I have to pack his lunch or wash his clothes, KO sort of fades into the background on the weekends.

 I've got some good drugs so it's mostly faded into the background until tomorrow morning, when it may show up again. (My headaches tend to last for 3 days although they've become positively scarce and generally milder since the last increase in my thyroid medication  Problem is, I haven't been sleeping much lately and that's a definite trigger. Did it to myself this time.)
So, did you check out anything good at the library? Maybe even some books? ;-)

One doesn't go to the library here to check out the local talent, ifyouknowwhatimean. ;) But I will be in a certain court tomorrow & one of the public defenders is rather easy on the eyes. and he's single.

I'm smoochy in love with him. And even if I weren't, there are still some people who are hung up on that monogamy thing.
on edit: 'sides, I'm saving up for the welcome home party. :smoke:

I'm usually really busy during the week, but on weekends I get to laze around. I do have to do a lot of reading for homework etc, but it's not like that stuff is strenuous or anything.

the judges here always advise the idiots it's best that they get an attorney & they'd prefer for them to get one to "preserve their rights." (ie, prevent the train wreck that will happen if you insist on representing yourself)

This weekend:
Phonebanking for Katy for the special election on Tuesday. Election judge training. Reception for Congresswoman Eddie Bernice Johnson. (She rocks so much!) Also, there was a lot of alcohol involved. Clothes shopping Laundry General tidying Errands Yoga class Chair massage at Whole Foods where I immediately fell in mad mad love with the massage therapist. Honestly, best. massage. ever. I asked him to marry me afterwards. :loveya: :loveya: :loveya: And there was still time for a nap!

All I do is work during the day, watch Keith at night, and sleep during the weekends. I have no energy for a life.

You should take exercise classes or something. I find that gives me a lot more energy. Have you had your health checked?

I need to workout more. I used to be a competitive and serious athlete, but now that I'm retired I don't do a whole lot. That helps me, I just need to be more dedicated. You should try to make time to do something like that.

14. Start finding the time |
|
That's what I had to do, even though it means I have to get up at 4:45am 3 days a week.
You have to take care of yourself first; everything else is secondary.

General tidying and laundry are a must!
