I was able to do that before the big storm came in. Heard the tornado warning sirens go off...the cats & dogs were hiding, so I hid in the closet. :scared: Found a kitten on my porch & I heard another one outside but nothing now. I hope that one's ok. Interested in a new kitten?

3. I hope you found the kitty! |

A couple of idiot DJs in CA pulled a stupid stunt: they put a stuffed kitty toy in a basket, attached helium balloons to the basket and then told everyone they'd launched a live kitten! Everyone went crazy trying to rescue the kitten until they confessed it was just a prank. Boy was the humane society steamed. :grr: Whole thing cost them $6,000.00!

4. Didn't Keith name someone WPITW once for doing that? |
|
How long ago did they pull that stunt? It sounds vaguely familiar.

5. Nope, didn't find the other one |

Stoopid me ran out in the rain & thunder three times trying to find it, but it wouldn't howl when I was outside. :dunce: Once things calmed down, I went out again, but didn't hear or see anything. I hope it made it. On the upside, the kitten I did find is in my office in a box, after spending the night in one of the cat carriers. He had an appetite on him. Not sure how old he is, but I'm calling the shelter & hope they have room. If I were going to keep him, I'm name him "Stormy."
Lots of wind damage, trees & branches down, signs down, debris in the road. The stop sign on my office's corner is flat on the ground. If you hear we didn't get a tornado, they're not telling the whole truth. SOMETHING set off the warning siren & if it wasn't extremely high winds/tornado, then it had to be the Luftwaffe.
Things are fine at my place, minor wind damage, a leaning tree, but all pets are present & accounted for.

That's my thought. Isn't that what they did with the heart give away?

I wish when they do this stuff they'd post something for those of us who are giving on a regular basis and tell us how we can participate.
