The Warrenton Journal opinion page has a column called Town Talk. these are short comments phoned into the paper and then the best ones are published. There's usually a 'This is a christian nation' or a 'God loves Bush' comment but those seem to have disappeared and are being replaced by comments like these:

No Talking at the Pump, Please
My message is to please don't talk to me while I am filling up my gas tank at the gas station. The only thing I am likely to say is: What did all you red-state goobers think would happen when you put two old oil boys in the White House?

I Voted for Bush, and I'm sorry
I've done a lot of stupid things in my life, but the dumbest thing I ever did was vote for George Bush. I had no idea he would be ths bad as president. I apologize to the country.

Vote GOP and'You're Nuts'
If anybody votes Republican in the up-coming election, they got to be nuts.

America Slipping into Bad State
After listening to George Bush's speech the other night, I've concluded Bush should be impeached, half of Congress on both sides of the aisle should resign and leave office and corporate America should be heavily fined for employing illegal immigrants. If something is'nt done about this, we'll soon become a Third World country.

And, today, I was reading a Florida newspaper and discovered an article about the acrimonious breakup of an influential GOP women's club. I love it when they eat their own!
