I was going to ask whichever one of you is unfortunate enough to have your heart broken by KO next to be sure to grab an ugly tie as souvenir, preferably the mint chocolate chip one, but please do not put it up for sale on eBay. I wouldn't want the tie to escape into the wild, where it would be free to make its way back home to Keef.

suit. The first time I saw this tie & suit together I thought the tie would work with a different shirt, but he has tried so many shirts, none of which have worked, that I think the tie is a problem, too.

we have to diss a particular combination a certain number of times before he'll believe that it really is a bad idea and that we're not just being pissy? And I do wish Dana would shave in the evening or put on heavier makeup, especially when he's wearing a light-colored suit. Probably not worth it for a 3-minute spot, but it is distracting.

61. The dry, mirthless Beavis and Butt-head chuckle.
Politicians do a lot of laughing and crying on cue, but with Bush, he never really sounds like he's enjoying himself. The same goes for the smile. It seems pasted on and doesn't budge when someone tells him something that ought to bring a natural display of emotion.

Now Bill Clinton, on the other hand, can REALLY laugh. Yeltsin made a dig at the press one time, and Clinton completely lost it and couldn't compose himself for about five or 10 minutes.

74. Did you happen to see part of *'s press conference yesterday?
He spoke his usually homespun shit... "in other words, trade is a good thing between our countries." No shit, sherlock.
Then the Canadian PM spoke, rather eloquently, in both English and French. And he looked rather dapper. I have no idea what his politics are like, but he sure seemed to remind me of JFK. My jaw dropped, and I thought, "Damn. Why can't our leader put two sentences together?"

Oh, and the blivet referred to "Soviet President Putin" - and I thought, "Don't you mean 'my good friend Vladmur?'" :banghead:
