I have had a couple of job interviews over the past two days. At one, they asked "tell us about a cost cutting measure you did for an employer." My reply? "Suggesting my own layoff, so our office manager could stay on, and support her two young children as a single mom, and my boss could fight his cancer." They were speechless. At least I know I aced that part of the interview!
